"Are you sure?", Nicole looked at Skye.
"I don't know. Michael was at the Academy writing his King's Fleet comm ad exam. He looked so nervous. We sat together having tea. He was so nice. It was kinda cool that he was scared. He had been a Starfleet Captain and now with Monica in charge he could be again but instead here he was learning about Alexander Laree, Vincent and Gavin Viceroy, the five Governor's Stations, and the colonies.", Dr. Greene gushed.
She was like a high schooler with her first crush.
"But he is a Montgomery.", Nicole looked at her longtime friend, rival and even mentor. Skye had been instrumental in Nicole's doctorate.
"He was gentle and loving.", Skylight teased.
Nicole, a lesbian, was not truly enthused by the observation.
"Just be careful.", Nicole sipped her wine.
