Orchid was on Third Corinthians when the Cardassian contingent showed up. They took her to the mess hall. She thought it was a kidnapping instead it was an offer. Legate Anwar was prepared to offer her wealth, protection and anything else she wanted in exchange for her chosing a Cardassian representative to control the wormhole opening.
They offered her a huge variety of woman of various races. She could have any of them. They would be hers to use as she pleased. Anwar wanted control of the wormhole.
Orchid was told that she would not have to live in average living on the surface of Ephyra. She would be provided with a luxury platform. There she would have a staff at her beckon call. She would not have Mac or Brenna tormenting her. She would not have the students of the Academy sponging meals off of Branson.
She would be free of the oppressive Coren Alliance. The Cardassians made it clear what had been reported on the BBC. Elizabeth, Illyan and Marcus were not her friends. They were using her and her relationship with Nicole Branson to open the wormhole.
Orchid looked at the representatives, "I will think about it."
"You could be a queen and not a whore.", the Cardassians reminded Orchid.
