Paul had done a masterful job of handling Federation One and the site visit of President Gareb Trmel of Andorian. The event went off without a hitch. It was fabulously well organized and handled with class and dignity.
Paul was never out of uniform nor did he give any indication of his personal life choices. Admiral Sonjac Naar'Haaj, the Federation One Director of Security looked at Paul on his way out, "You are a good man and a damn fine officer."
Sonjac put the emphasis on the word "man" just to torment Paul knowing the words would hurt. The arrogant Tellarite was about to close the bridge way to the Federation One when he looked back, "I could never see you as a woman."
Sonjac had access to the personal logs as head of Starfleet Command. He knew that Paul loved to be seen as a woman at heart but had desire to have any transformation surgery. He wanted to be a woman in his heart but a an in his professional life. Sonjac knew the words would hurt Paul. The Tellarites are an impudent people.
Franklin was walking down the corridor and heard the hurtful words. Secretly he wanted to punch the Admiral but he kept his cool. He turned away not interfering. This was Paul's war.
Paul went back to his quarters and dressed in a pair of checkered panties, thigh stockings and a garter. He put on a cashmere sweater and rubbed it against his skin.
Franklin came in as Paul tried to reconnect with his feminine soul. Franklin grabbed him and kissed him deeply on the mouth. Franklin started to remove the checkered panties. Paul giggled as Franklin bent him over the bed, "The whole point of dressing up is to make me feel more feminine and now you are taking my panties off."
Franklin slid inside his beauty, "Oh yeah, that's my girl."
The words touched Paul right to the heart. Even though Franklin was a little chubby and not a picture perfect male, in that moment making love to Paul and making him feel feminine and loved at the same time, he was perfect for Paul.
