Despite initial reports including possible eye witness testimony, Commander T'Ros of Romulus is adamant that the Romulans did not make an attempt on the life of Admiral Tim Veltkamp or attacked the Omega Station, Sigma Station Alpha.
The Romulans are willing to provide ship logs from the 3 orbiting war birds, part of the Omega Blockade and the courts will subpeona the logs of the Typhon and I will hopefully be able to conduct a formal interview with Lt. Commander Aloysius Storm regarding the incident and his important vantage point in orbit around the colony.
I would also like to speak with representatives of Governor's Station, which has miraculously appeared in orbit around the colony and is now literally begging the colony for technical and mechanical support. Did this station have anything to do with the incident? The station is part of the Alliance of Guardians, an unknown entity and its allegiances remain unclear with a very young Admiral and nefarious connections to the Jem'Hadar.
I have yet to determine a student representative to speak with regarding the incident. With Lt. Commander D'Tall, the student president graduating and heading for Deep Space 15, the students are without a formal spokesperson. I would like to make certain that this was not an attack by the United Federation of Purists, the student terrorist organization. I have my doubts that they would be capable of hurting the station but they may have coordinated the assassination attempt with another group.
So many questions remain. The security parameter was exceptional, yet the admiral was shot.
The question remains, Who shot Tim Veltkamp?
