Bobbi-Lee looked at a tired Vincent walking into their Veltkamp Village townhouse, "Any word on Brenna?"
Vincent was exhausted. He had been working double time heading the colony civilian government as well as the Military command. He looked up, barely able to lift his head, "Unfortunately no."
"Do you think the Vidiians will kill her?", Bobbi-Lee asked.
"No, the child is the bargaining chip. Erson wants to trade Montgomery for the colony and its resources.", Vincent explained, slumping into the chair.
Bobbi-Lee picked up their baby and brought her to Vincent. Vincent hugged the little thing to his chest. Bobbi-Lee looked at Vincent and smiled, "Do you think she is at risk?"
"At risk for what?", Vincent mumbled in response.
"For being kidnapped. You are as important if not moreso to the colony than Branson.", Bobbi-Lee observed.
"Oh dear god, I have to go back to work. You have to keep her safe.", Vincent ordered.
He could barely get off the couch.
"Captain Leo has assured our safety already, Vincent. You need to rest. Tomorrow you can head back to the office and continue the search. Tonight, you need to stay here.", Bobbi-Lee ordered the Commodore to bed.
She sat alone at the table in the kitchen area and worried about Nicole. She must be absolutely frantic.
