Shianna walks into the Federation Offices building to see the Vice President and give her transfer scripts for Shianna's transfer from Starfleet Command Council as Prime aid to Phoenix Federation as the Vice President's Liaison.
Shianna takes the turbo lift to Nicole's office and straighten out her skirt and blouse making herself look professional.As the lift reaches the floor,Shianna steps out and walks down the hall meeting the clerk outside of Nicole's office.
"May I help you miss?"The clerk asked Shianna as the clerk looked her up and down seeing how professional Shianna looked.
"Yes.I am Shianna Karin Baxton and I have a appointment to see the Vice President."Shianna replied.
The clerk looks in the book checking the appointment."Ah yes.Ms. Baxton please have a seat and Vice President Branson will be with you shortly."The clerk goes to Nicole's office door and knocks.
"Come in..."Nicole answered as she sees the clerk walk in.
"Ms. Vice President Branson,You have a visitor.It's Ms. Shianna Baxton.She has a appointment to see you,Ma'am."The clerk says.
The clerk walks over to Shianna and speaks to her."Ms. Baxton,the Vice President will see you now."
Shianna walks into Nicole's office and closes the door behind her.She then walks over extending her hand out to Nicole."Hello,Ms. Vice President Branson."
Nicole smiles standing in front of her desk shaking hands with Shianna,"Please.Have seat Ms.Baxton and please call me Nicole."Nicole offered to Shianna.
Shianna and Nicole take a seat on the couch in the office."So what do I owe this lovely pleasure today."Nicole asked her sweet and softly.
Shianna smiles at Nicole feeling appreciative of Nicole's manners and professionalism as well as her hospitality.Shianna then sits back crossing her leg over the other and puts hands together on her knee.Shianna looks over to Nicole with a glare of sweet innocents dressed in her pink blouse and skirt with her high-heels on.
"Well,Nicole..."Shianna says sweetly and continues.
"I wanted to talk to you about a job here as your Liaison.As my career in politics with Starfleet Command as civilian aid to the council has hit it's peak."Shianna replied.
"I see."Nicole added
"The council at Starfleet Command feel that they no longer need my services because they see no further advancement for me as a civilian.So they issued me transfer scripts to Phoenix Federation as your Liaison."Shianna said.
"Oh that's a shame as you seem very good at what you do and seem to enjoy your job every much."Nicole says.
"Yes I do.Politics is my life.Now I understand Starfleet has no... authority in Phoenix Federation,but they feel I can further my career in the Phoenix Federation and feel it will be very helpful to the colony if I were to be your Liaison."Shianna replied.
Shianna grabs the transfer scripts and hands them to Nicole graciously.
Nicole looked down at the transfer. She gave Shianna a bit of a frown, "The Phoenix Colony has not had much use for Starfleet or the United Federation of Planets of late."
Nicole was referring to the actions of Colonel Steven Goddard and Star Fleet Marines in the Beta Quadrant. She hoped that Shianna was aware of the incident.
"I am simply a liaison officer.", Shianna responded.
"I am not here to push Starfleet policy or Federation politics on the colony.", Shianna continued. The beautiful young lady seemed genuine to Nicole. It made Nicole feel a nice confidence in this relationship. She worried that she did not have the same confidence in the returning Dr. Orchid Coren-Branson.
"Shianna?", Nicole tried to get comfortable with the name.
"This is Commander Elora Vasa. She operates the "war room" here in the Federation Complex. This place could not function without her. She will be your conduit between the civilian politics and the Phoenix Fleet Operations under Commodore Vincent Viceroy.", Nicole explained as the Betazoid entered the room.
"Nice to meet you.", Shianna extended her hand.
"Starfleet.", Elora scoffed. Even Nicole was not comfortable with the Betazoid in their heads. She gave Elora a stern look.
"Between Elora and her sister, Summer, the Operations Commander of Governor's Station, the Vasa family controls the colony.", Nicole poked fun at the Vasa girls.
Shianna grinned. Elora did not find it funny.
Nicole looked at Shianna and motioned her to follow her outside the incredible building, "We will go to BLACK and have a coffee."
Shianna smiled. Coffee meant she had been accepted...
At least she hoped so...
