Tania stood on the observation deck of the Diana looking out at the Cardassian sun. Lindsay walked in with two silver cups, "Coffee, Commander?"
Tania looked at her new Executive Officer, "It all happened so fast, you know?"
"There were Cardassians loyal to the Union on the Tanmesad. We all knew that but to turn on Vash and myself - no one expected that. Worse still, members of Star Fleet security stood down to allow the senior staff to be forced off of the ship. We were later told they were operating under a higher authority than our own.", Tania spoke softly as she thought of Vash sobbing in Governor's Station bar.
Tsnia sipped the coffee and looked out the window. Did Star Fleet conspire to allow the Cardassian rebels to take the Tanmesad? Now she was in command of the Diana. Was it worth fighting the Cardassians?
What is it about Ephyra that the Federation is afraid of? It is common practice for the preeminent superpower to arm a strongman to bring to a stop any advancement in a region. Leagte Anwar is this man. He will take the garden back to the days of the collective. All this will be for not.
